Abstract

This study aims to analyze general communication in English language teaching, focusing on the role and application of effective communication strategies in educational contexts. General communication refers to verbal and non-verbal interactions used by teachers and students in the teaching and learning process. This literature review examines various relevant communication theories, including interpersonal communication theory, interpersonal communication, and communication in educational contexts. In addition, this study also discusses the importance of communication skills in improving students' understanding, engagement, and motivation in English language learning. The results of the analysis show that the success of English language teaching is greatly influenced by the teacher's ability to convey information clearly and interestingly, as well as the ability to create an inclusive and supportive communication environment. This study is expected to provide insight for teachers to improve their communication strategies in teaching English and improve the quality of learning.
